The second Community Meeting for the Matlacha Bridge Replacement project was held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the German American Social Club, located at 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
The recommended alternative – the Southern Alignment- was presented at this meeting. At that time, construction of rest-room facilities, a fish cleaning station and a vendor space were under consideration by County staff. Since then, the vendor option has been eliminated.
